Catherine Becker, 48, is accused of going to her husband's condo in Garden Grove and drugging his dinner. That caused him to pass out, she then tied him up and assaulted the man.
The couple is reportedly going through a divorce. The victim was rushed to the hospital and is in stable condition Tuesday night.
His wife faces several charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment.
