Workers from "Community Services and Employment Training" or CSET -- ran weatherization tests and made repairs to a home in Visalia.
CSET is offering free weatherization services for homeowners who meet income requirements. CSET uses state and federal grants to repair air conditioner equipment, doors, windows and home appliances that aren't working properly.
Ed Jones, CSET said, "All of this is intended to lower their utility bills if they can save anywhere from $30-50 a month that's a big savings for all of our clients."
Iselda Figueroa, homeowner said, "It's energy efficient and I want to save money I spend a lot of money during July, August and June on our electricity bill."
This Visalia homeowner is trying to lower her $400.00 a month electricity bill.
