Fresno stabbing sends teen to hospital

FRESNO, Calif.

It happened around two o'clock Sunday morning at a home on Shields just west of Fruit in Central Fresno. But when officers arrived they didn't find the victim.

The 17 year old victim showed up later, at Community Regional Medical Center with stab wounds. The hospital entrance on Fresno and R streets then, became part of the crime scene.

Fresno Police went to a home on Shields where the party was held, to collect evidence. They also took fingerprints from cars parked in the driveway. Investigators say about 50 people were at the house when a fight broke out between several tagging crews, that's when the teen was stabbed.

Officers also served a search warrant on a white sedan, parked at the hospital entrance. So far no arrests have been made. At last check, the stabbing victim was listed in critical condition.
