The incident started after Jakadrien Turner was arrested in Houston for theft. The teen apparently gave a police a fake name. Officers ran the name, and found that it belonged to an illegal immigrant from Columbia who had warrants for her arrest. Immigrations and Customs enforcement then deported Turner to Columbia.
"I feel that she will come home," said Lorene Turner, Jakadrien's grandmother. "I just need help and I need prayer."
The Colombian government now has her in a locked detention facility and won't release her. U.S. Immigration and Customs will only say, it is looking into the matter.
