Fresno based radio group files for bankruptcy

FRESNO, Calif.

Peak Broadcasting has reached a reorganization deal which includes the filing for Chapter 11 protection.

The company owns 11 radio stations in Fresno and in Boise, Idaho -- including "KMJ" and "Kiss Country."

Officials say none of those stations will be affected by the bankruptcy filing. Peak listed about 50 to 100 million dollars in debt in the bankruptcy paperwork.
