Detectives in the South Valley are trying to track down a killer.
Visalia Police say a 23-year-old man was found dead in his home Thursday night. Police say family members discovered the body around 8:45 at their home on Giddings and Robin. Investigators say it appears the man died from a single gun shot wound.
The case is treated as a homicide since police found several bullet casings at the scene. Police say the man was home alone for a short time when he was killed.
Investigators say it is too early in the investigation to know whether the homicide is gang related. There was also no signs of forced entry into the home.
