Del Ray man arrested for attempting to scrap stolen trailers
A Del Rey man is in custody Thursday after the Fresno County Sheriff's Department says he attempted to scrap two stolen fruit bin trailers.
Deputies arrested 25-year-old Kishan David Sangha after they say he arrived at a local recycling yard to scrap the two trailers where detectives were conducting an investigation. Sangha was also in possession of a stolen shotgun, ammunition, and methamphetamine. Detectives say they also uncovered a cargo trailer stolen weeks ago at another location.
Sangha is a convicted felon with three outstanding arrest warrants. He is being held on several charges, including grand theft, and possession of a firearm and narcotics.
