Police arrested /*Tina Johnson*/, 46, on Sunday at the Walmart on Shaw near Dewitt in Clovis.
A witness called authorities after seeing the elderly man who appeared to be in distress. Temperatures were above 100 degrees at the time.
When officers arrived, it took them more than an hour to find Johnson at the McDonalds inside Walmart.
She's been charged with elder abuse.
