Investigators say /*Arnold Sanchez*/, 19, assaulted /*Salvador Garcia*/ before he was shot and killed outside a mini mart in Southeast Porterville almost two weeks ago.
Police have already arrested /*Federico Mejia*/, 29, and his girlfriend, /*Adriana Jaimez*/.
Porterville police say the victim was parked in his car waiting for a friend inside the store, when Mejia walked up and shot the man in the chest. They also say Jaimez was there at the time and drove Mejia and Sanchez away from the scene.
Officers say the victim was not involved in gang activity and the shooting may have been random.
