A jury found Tyrone Cowan guilty of murder late Tuesday afternoon. The trial lasted about two weeks, but jurors needed less than an hour to reach their verdict.
Even Cowan seemed to think it was a foregone conclusion before the jury came back. But his attorney said it was disappointing.
Cowan's Defense Attorney Scott Baly said, "It doesn't bring back anybody. It doesn't unhurt anybody. It's just a bad case, a very bad case."
Cowan will be sentenced next month, but his prison term is already determined, life without the possibility of parole.
