Shootout between rival groups in Downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif.

The shooting happened just outside the Frank H. Ball Community Center.

Fresno police officers say two rival groups shot at each other around 4:00 Thursday afternoon.

No one was actually struck by the gunfire. One woman was injured when she tripped and cut her hand as she ran from the shooting scene.

Police closed off the street for about 30 minutes as detectives talked to witnesses and collected shell casings.

No arrests have been made at this time.
