Authorities have identified the woman found in a canal near Avenue 344 and Millwood Drive in Woodlake. Her body was recovered on February 25. A DNA results have just confirmed the victim is 49-year-old Lenora Linda Castillo.
She was reported missing on February 16th. Deputies say Castillo left the home she shared with boyfriend after a fight, and was last seen walking on Road 126 in Orosi.
Her cause of death is listed as "undetermined," and the detectives are still actively investigating the case.
