Officers located Joseph Chanla, 18, and Wilson Khounvixay, 29, this past Saturday. Both are known gang members.
Authorities say last Thursday afternoon, two officers were looking for a suspect wanted on a felony drug charge.
When they arrived in a neighborhood near Fresno and Belmont, two men walked out of a home, and toward them. That's when police say one of them started shooting.
A bullet went into the windshield, and landed on the patrol car's dashboard. No one was injured, but police say five rounds were fired.
