Five people are displaced after a fire tore through their Clovis home on Sunday morning.

An ABC30 viewer snapped a photo of the smoke and flames pouring out of the two-story house on Peach Avenue near Sierra Avenue.

Firefighters rushed to the area minutes after getting the call around 7:30 a.m. They were told one of the five residents was unaccounted for, but that person evacuated shortly after firefighters arrived.

Crews had to battle the blaze mostly from the outside because of safety concerns.

The fire caused extensive damage to the attic, roof and part of the first floor.

No one was injured, and the cause is still under investigation.
