A person opened fire outside a Houston TV station Thursday morning, and was quickly taken into police custody.

Just after 9 a.m. on Thursday, a woman fired multiple shots at the front of the KTRK-TV building in Houston, Texas, striking windows and parked cars. Fortunately, no employees were injured in the incident.

The suspect took off, but police pursued her and took her into custody without incident. There is no word on what charges she may face and the suspect's identity has not yet been released. Police said the investigation is ongoing.

A similar situation took place at the same TV station about five weeks ago. In February an unknown person opened fire in the TV station parking lot, striking parked cars and the ABC13 sign. No one was injured in that incident. Although no suspect was arrested in that case, a surveillance camera caught the suspect's car. That car appears to be similar to, or possibly the same car the suspect was arrested in today.
