Summer art exhibition kicks off at Fresno Art Museum

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- It's the opening night of the Summer Exhibition Series at the Fresno Art Museum.

The event runs through August 28 and features three brand-new exhibits by internationally renowned artists from the last six decades.

Noted Los Angeles art patron Joan Quinn has had over 300 portraits of herself done by artist friends of hers over the years, and 50 Of those portraits were selected by the art museum to be shown this summer.

You can also find exhibits dealing with woodworking, weaving, quilting, loom work, and crochet.
