Fresno-based website has mission to help charities

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Central Valley non-profit is helping those who help others one T-shirt at a time.

Square Heart Shops is a Fresno-based fundraising site geared toward developing proceeds for other local non-profits and charities.

Their latest fundraiser raised more than $6,000 to send 20 students with the People's Church on a mission trip to Kenya.

"Square Heart Shops is really a non-profit that's here to help with adoptions mission, trips, any kind of fundraising," Vanessa Markarian explained. "We want to get in there mentor and we do that by selling cute clothes things that they can customize and where."
