Hobby Lobby celebrates grand opening in Hanford

HANFORD, Calif. (KFSN) -- A new Hobby Lobby is now open in the South Valley. The store in Hanford celebrated its grand opening on Monday.

Dozens of people were waiting outside the store before it even opened. The store marked the event with balloons, cake and discounts for shoppers.

Hobby Lobby took over the former Walmart building at 12th Avenue and Lacey Boulevard. It's brought about 50 new jobs to the area.
