COARSEGOLD, Calif. (KFSN) -- High Sierra Showerheads is a foothill business that is helping people conserve water in the drought.

In addition to the showerheads, the Coarsegold company manufactures high-efficiency nozzles for golf and Ag sprinkler irrigation. They produce more than 250,000 nozzles each year and about 10,000 showerheads this year.

High Sierra Showerheads has been making the nozzles since the 1980s and has been a repetitive and profitable market for them, but is not growing. However, the showerhead market is growing very rapidly. Sales have been doubling each year for four years.
