Duplex goes up in flames leaving 5 people displaced

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Five people are looking for a new place to stay after fire a burned through a tri-plex in Central Fresno.

The building caught on fire around nine last night at Cornell and West.

Firefighters were able to quickly put out the flames.

No one was home when the fire broke out and no one was hurt.

The blaze is believed to have caused about $80,000 in damage.

The cause is still under investigation.
