Man shot in neck in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is in the hospital after police say someone driving by shot him in the neck.

It happened just before 8:00 p.m. Monday night near Mayfair and Normal in Central Fresno.

Investigators say the 30-year-old man was standing near his van when someone, in a grey or silver Honda, fired a single round at him.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
