1 killed, 7 injured in I-5 rollover crash

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities are investigating a deadly crash in the Coalinga area around 2 a.m. Thursday.

The CHP says an SUV with 11 people inside somehow rolled over on Interstate 5 near Highway 145. Officials say the family was traveling from Oregon to Southern California.

One person was killed and at least seven others were injured. Investigators say some of the passengers were not wearing seatbelts.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
