Driver crashes car in Madera, blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A drunk driver crashed his car near a home in Madera Saturday morning, according to police.

Officers say Juan Estrada was speeding on a roadway when he lost control of his vehicle in the area of Knox Street and Almond Avenue.

Police found Estrada a blood alcohol level two times over the legal limit.

Estrada was taken into custody. No one else was injured in the crash.
