33rd annual Fig Gig held in Northwest Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The heat couldn't keep people away from the coolest outdoor event in Northwest Fresno on Thursday.

The 33rd annual Fig Gig featured the "Marie Wilson Band." They played some fan favorites, including Taylor Swift's "Shake it Off" and Pharrell Williams' "Happy."

Action News AM Live anchor Jason Oliveira served as the emcee.

If you didn't make it out on Thursday, the next Fig Gig is Thursday, Aug. 13, in support of United Cerebral Palsy of Central California.
