Woman killed in highway crash near Coalinga

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Family members identify 60-year-old Kay Ha as the woman killed in a crash on Interstate 5 near Coalinga Saturday morning.

A photo provided by the family shows Ha celebrating her 60th birthday in October. California Highway Patrol officers report that she was the passenger in a Honda CRV when the driver fell asleep and hit another vehicle that was parked on the shoulder near Utica Avenue.

A 57-year-old man was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries while Ha died at the scene. Both people are from San Francisco.
