Fire crews put out vacant home fire in Central Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fire crews quickly put out a vacant house fire in Central Fresno overnight.

Authorities say it looks like homeless people accessed the home from the canal just behind the home.

When they got inside, they accidentally set the fire in a detached garage.

The flames spread to the house, but the damage was minor. No one was hurt.
