Forest Fire reported in Yosemite National Park

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Tenaya Fire is located in Indian Canyon above the north rim of the Valley. The fire was discovered last night and is currently estimated at 500 acres.

The fire is burning among dead trees creating a large smoke plume. Two 20-person hand crews are on scene. Four air tankers and two helicopters are also assisting.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
