FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Fresno woman is recovering from injuries suffered while trying to stop her own home from burning down on Friday afternoon.
Investigators say she was injured trying to put out the flames after a fire broke out at her house near Alluvial and Millbrook avenues in Northeast Fresno. She was overcome by the smoke and heat while trying to put out the fire using a garden hose before firefighters arrived.
