Getting ready for a round of golf

FRESNO, Calif. -- Action News Fitness Expert Rhonda Murphy shows us a few exercises that will strengthen our upper bodies before we tee off.

Working on range of motion is so important on keeping a healthy joint. A shoulder is a ball in a socket joint which allows it to move in so many directions. Keeping it moving in all directions will keep it fit and strong.

You want to use light weights with a slow movement. You can do these exercises at home or at a gym. I like to use bands and light weights to work the shoulders. Working on maintaining a healthy body you should work the upper body at least 2 times a week. Try and do at least 3 different range of motions for the shoulder.
