Champion pool player Jeanette Lee comes to Fresno to support boy battling leukemia
T.J. Hill was diagnosed with leukemia after becoming ill while competing in a junior pool championship, so the champion pool player known as 'The Black Widow' came to support him.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- She's known as "The Black Widow" and a billiard champion, world-renowned pool player, and Jeanette Lee made an appearance in Fresno at the Blue Fin Billiard Monday night for a good cause.

The owner's son was diagnosed with acute leukemia just a few weeks ago, and Lee wanted to show her support for the family through fundraising and putting on a free show where she played pool and signed autographs.

"I know he's fighting this disease, but I'll tell you, this whole community in Fresno is just completely wrapping their arms around him," she said. "Clearly, he's getting a lot of support, and I wanted to come and do my part."

T.J. Hill was diagnosed with leukemia after becoming ill while competing in a junior pool championship himself, Lee says hill is going to be a star.

His family is asking for anyone who wants to donate and couldn't make it out to please go to their GoFundMe page.
