3 dead in crash near Stratford in Kings County
Three people are dead after an accident at the intersection of Laurel Avenue and 19th Avenue outside Stratford in Kings County.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Three people are dead after an accident at the intersection of Laurel Avenue and 19th Avenue outside Stratford in Kings County.



The California Highway Patrol said a vehicle was heading south on 19th Avenue and was broadsided by a vehicle going east on Laurel Avenue around 5:50 a.m. on Thursday. The southbound car was pushed into two power poles. All three people inside were killed. The driver in the eastbound vehicle was uninjured. The intersection has a 2-way stop on 19th Avenue. The CHP said the southbound vehicle ran that stop sign.



PG&E said power was knocked out for 493 customers. Most of the customer's power was restored by 7:30 am. Another eight customers didn't have power until 11:05 am.
