KERN COUNTY (KFSN) -- In Kern County, the fire near Lake Isabella is winding down.

The fire has burned more than 48,000 acres and is 90-percent contained.

The wildfire has destroyed 257 Structures and two people were killed.

It's cost the state almost $20-million so far.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
