Fresno man arrested for pointing laser at police helicopter

FRESNO, Calif. -- Fresno Police have arrested a man for pointing a laser at a police helicopter. Police say the laser came from a house near Jensen and Marks around 9:30 Friday night.

Pilots say the laser repeatedly lit up the cockpit, forcing them to shield their eyes to not get blinded. Officers on the ground were able to locate the suspect, identified as 32-year-old Ali Yang, and arrested him.
