2 killed in accident near Los Banos

LOS BANOS, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities are investigating a deadly head-on collision northwest of Los Banos. It happened at about 7:00 Monday morning on Ingomar Grade south of Hearst Road.

The California Highway Patrol says a 32-year-old man from Los Banos was driving north on Ingomar Grade when his car drifted into the southbound lane. The man's Nissan Sentra collided head-on with a Ford Focus driven by a 54-year-old woman from Newman.

Both drivers sustained fatal injuries.
