Fire burning in Mariposa County near Old Highway Road and Burl Drive

MARIPOSA COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) -- A fire is burning off Old Highway Road and Burl Drive in Mariposa County.

That's about three miles southwest of Mormon Bar.

There's no word yet on how large this fire is, but the sheriff's office is asking everyone to avoid the area due to a heavy fire and law enforcement response.
