Pursuit ends at Naval Air Station Lemoore

LEMOORE, Calif. (KFSN) -- A suspect vehicle managed to get onto Naval Air Station Lemoore before authorities caught up with the suspects.

The California Highway Patrol started the pursuit around 8 p.m. Monday along Highway 43 after the car was traveling way too fast. The CHP lost the suspect, but then the Kings County Sheriff's Department found the vehicle and continued the pursuit onto the base.

Two people jumped out of the car and were arrested shortly thereafter. They were arrested for the pursuit and the driver being impaired. The CHP says more charges could follow.
