Fire guts Central Fresno home

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Central Fresno man lost his home Monday after a car with maintenance issues caught fire.

The flames started just after noon near Fresno Street and Hampton Way. Fresno firefighters say the car sitting in a carport caught fire and spread quickly to the home.

Another house next door was also damaged.
