Fresno police arrest 3, seek 2 in armed robberies

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno police have arrested three suspects and are still searching for two others wanted for a series of armed robberies.

Davon Thomas, Romee Brown and a 16-year-old are facing multiple charges. Investigators say they robbed two victims in the city on Friday evening and a third victim in the Mayfair District of Fresno County.

An officer spotted them near a liquor store at Clinton Avenue and First Street. Authorities say the three suspects tried to run but were caught with the help of other officers. A gun tied to the first robbery was also found nearby.
