FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer met with the family of a 19-year-old Fresno man shot and killed by officers during a traffic stop two weeks ago.

Dyer said he showed Dylan Noble's parents the officer body camera video of the shooting.

The footage has not yet been made public and the Chief said he does not plan to release it given the current concerns about police shootings across the country.

The Noble family has asked for an outside agency to investigate the case, but the police department has already asked for the FBI to look into the shooting.

Fresno Police maintains that Noble was reaching for something in his glove box and not following orders when officers shot and killed him in late June near Shields and Armstrong.
