Police said around 5 a.m. on Thursday, a woman called saying someone was trying to break into her home. When police arrived, they saw a man, who appeared to have a gun, the man then ran to a car. Shots were exchanged between police and the suspect, before the man fled the scene. Officers said they caught up with the suspect at 6th Street and 11th Avenue. They said they hit the suspect's car to prevent them from driving off.
