Man killed in Hanford crash

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is dead Sunday after crashing his vehicle into some almond trees in Hanford.

The California Highway Patrol says the 27-year-old man was driving down Excelsior near 14th Avenue Sunday evening when he veered off the road.

They say he was the only person in the car and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause is under investigation.
