Missing child and father found; father arrested for child endangerment

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police said they've arrested a reportedly missing man for using meth while caring for his toddler.

Keith Nikkel's wife reported him and their eight-month-old daughter missing after being gone for nearly two days. Nikkel told police he took meth and felt bad. So, instead of taking the baby home to his wife he went to a Motel 6 before returning home.

The baby wasn't harmed and Nikkel was arrested for felony child endangerment.
