FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno Police Department announced on Thursday that three Norteno gang members were arrested for a gang related shooting that occurred last week where a 5-year-old girl was struck by gunfire.

The shooting happened on Holly Avenue near E Reverend Chester Riggins Avenue in Southwest Fresno on Wednesday, August 6th. Police said a 5-year-old girl suffered a graze would to the face.

Investigators say the victim's family had a dispute with neighbors over a prior burglary where the victim's family believed the neighbor's children were involved. Detectives a tip led them to the identities of two of the 16-year-old gang members that fled with the shooter -- which later led them to identify the 17-year-old shooting suspect.

The three suspect were arrested without incident on Wednesday. A shotgun and handgun were recovered from two of the houses searched.

Fresno Police say the 5-year-old girl is doing well.
