Search underway for missing hiker in Sequoia National Park

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Officials say 75-year-old Dawson Johnson was supposed to hike to lower Crabtree Meadow, to Guitar Lake, and then to Mount Whitney on Tuesday. He was expected to return to Crabtree Meadow -- but nobody has seen him since Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say Johnson has a full gray beard and was wearing a blue jacket, beige pants, a white floppy hat, but was not carrying a backpack.
