Wildfire burns in community of Prather

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Cal Fire crews battled a wildfire in the Fresno County community of Prather on Sunday.

ABC30 Insider Kathleen Trumbly sent us photos of the smoke and an air tanker dropping retardant over the area. They were taken just before 7 p.m.

Officials say the flames burned about three acres near Auberry Road and Thunderbird before they were able to stop the forward progress. There was no immediate word on containment or if any structures were threatened.
