Student identified who was killed in accident on Reedley College campus

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Authorities have identified the student who died in an accident on the Reedley College Campus.

The student has been identified as 17-year-old Crystal Hernandez of Orange Cove.

The Reedley Middle College student fell out of the camper of a truck that was driving on campus Tuesday night.

Hernandez suffered major head injuries and died in the hospital over the weekend. College officials believe it happened as she was leaving an FFA event.

Hernandez was taking classes at Reedley College while finishing her senior year in high school.

Police believe the incident was an accident and no criminal charges will be filed.
