FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Rough Fire is finally out after burning more than 150 thousand acres in Fresno County.
Lightning sparked the massive blaze back on July 31st and it became one of the largest in state history. But fire officials announced on Friday it is now 100 percent contained.
Some areas affected by the fire remain closed for road work. The U.S. Forest service says those places may reopen next summer.
