It featured some of the world's best in multiple categories including solves with one hand or blindfolded with some solving in roughly 30 seconds.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- From all over the world, competitors came to Fresno for the goal of making a perfect cube.

The World Rubik's Cube Association held its ranked competition at Bitwise Industries Saturday. It featured some of the world's best in multiple categories including solves with one hand or blindfolded with some solving in roughly 30 seconds.

"It's really exciting for younger kids who want to get into cubing, it's a way to break in, meet people and improve your times," Serafin Quintaner said.

This was the first open Rubik's Competition held in Fresno, and organizers believe another will be held next year so start practicing.
