FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man accused of kidnapping a Sanger teenager is now in custody. 48-year-old Russell Wayne Deviney was taken into custody just after 11:00 Thursday morning in Oregon state.

Police and the FBI tracked Deviney down to a privately owned wooded area south of Cannon Beach after getting a tip from a Good Samaritan. When Deviney was asked his name he simply said, "I'm the guy you're looking for." He's now charged with kidnapping and sexual assault.

The 15-year-old is now back home with her family in Sanger. Investigators say she had been communicating online with a person she believed was a 19-year-old. Once she realized the person she was meeting was actually a 48-year-old man, she was already in the vehicle and under Deviney's control.
