Man killed in Delhi shooting

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Merced County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect who shot and killed a man in Delhi on Saturday afternoon.

The Sheriff's office said they received several 911 calls shortly after 4 p.m. on Saturday after shots were fired in the area of Shanks Road and Letteau Avenue in Delhi. When deputies arrived, they found a 23-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Merced County Sheriff's Office investigators say the case is still under investigation, and the motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
